Hey all. Lately I have noticed water lodging in the cavity of the rear wheel arch directly above the jacking point on the sliding door side. Any ideas?

Thanks RobH and itchy feet, I took a look around the seal inside and out and it looks fine. The van is parked up and not being driven so I dont think its coming from the arch, they are bone dry underneath. I checked the seam sealer around the arch and it appears to be fine and watertight. To me it seems to be coming from the area nearest the door jam but I cant say for sure. I soaked up around an inch of water from it last night, checked it again later and the water was back. The weather here is wild the last few days with wind rain and cold.

a tin top. I looked at it today and it seems fine. Could it be a possibility of it coming in from the sliding door guide or something?

well to get that ammount of water then have you removed the cover for the slider rail/runner?
this is a common rot area and it only needs a small hole as the water runs to the back of the runner and has a few feet of catchment area then it will find its own way out, through the skin and down,have a looksee tomoz

Will do. I haven't touched the cover micky. There was a bit of dirt there and I cleaned that out. and dealt with the small bit of rust that was there. When inspecting it I discovered the water. Its a pain as I cant move ahead with the build until ive the problem sorted.

It can also be a poor seal around the sliding door catch (the one that holds it open).

Can someone tell me how to remove the panel that covers the sliding door rail. I have the two screws removed from each end, pulled it out slightly and pushed the panel up but no joy. I dont want to force it as I might be doing it wrong. Thanks in advance.
