Sliding door window gap.........

I have a converted panel van which i have just had re-sprayed, prior to being painted the gap between the window and the inner doorskin on the slider was trimmed in material but the painters removed this in order to paint the inside of the door but now the window is back in there is a gap between the two. I have a mate with an Autosleeper and he has a sort of rubber seal similar to a windscreen seal which fills the gap, does anyone know where i can get one of these or will something from a Carravelle or similar do the job.
