I am looking to fit a missing headliner in my DoKa, but I have no idea of the construction or dimensions, can I modify a camper headliner??
Can anyone help please with either locating a replacement, or the details of how I can make one.
Any help or advice gratefully received.

Doka liners differ in that behind the B pillar they are wider than a van.
You can get any trimmer of note to make one, the material is a common one and is available in a range of colour, not just white/cream.
Usually the Doka liner is best fitted, screen out.
Fixing usually consists of wire 'bows' going from side to side in pre-existing holes along the upper roof structure (4/5, I forget). These clip into plastic cups and are fed through tubes stitched into the liner. In the door apertures the liner hooks over a metal flange and a card edge traps it neatly there. At the back it gets bonded to the bulkhead. At the front it gets stretched and glued around the windscreen flange.

There is a chap advertising headlinings for t25 on eBay.
He quoted me £75 for a doka one for me.

Thanks Guys for the replies,
I have made the first step and purchased the wire bows and plastic caps which fit into the cab roof. I believe there are 4, not 5. Are they all the same profile?? The fitting is complicated further as i have a sun roof.
So no worries we have made progress. I know there is a plan on the WIKI for a camper so i can utilise the principles of consruction but just need to ammend the dimensions for the DoKa
inspector Clouseau is on the case!!!!!

I will keep you all updated with progress through this thread.
Though I suspect a recondition will be an easier process because when the headliner is removed it will provide a template and it is just a reverse process for reinstallation. I am starting from a bare canvas as I have no headliner bows cups or trims just bare metal.
I have a couple of questions though,
Could someone please supply me detailed photos (
daveturnill@hotmail.com ) how one should look especially the edging. Do I require any additional facia/trimmings to finish it off? I need to have all the parts required before I start.
Also can I put insulation/noise proofing above the headliner with out causing condensation problems and do you have any recommendation of the sort of material which could be used up there if it is possible any advice??

You could use that foil bubble wrap insulation. The foil gives you the vapour barrier.
Done my crafter motorbike with it. Just fix up with high temp spray glue
