We just went to see one of VW classics Paris-Dakar replicas running the in the LeJog 2013. 3 days of winter driving in the UK on roads and stage events.
It sparked a little interest in this classic rallying malarkey.

What I was suggesting, now I have a keyboard rather than a phone is that if you are serious then why not attempt a event closer to home before you sp*nk a load of money traipsing across Europe only to find out it doesn't work and you are vastly ill prepared.
Work up to the Breslau rather than straight in at the top.
How much is the entry fee for Breslau? How much fuel? etc.
LeJog entry fee is upwards of £3000 and you still have to prep the vehicle, eat, drink and put your own fuel in as well as get there and get back.
I would offer some prep work, but only once the entry fee has been paid as to be honest I can't ever see it happening.
But, I have known to be wrong, if you lot sort your sh!t out I'll do some drive train work gratis.

"More Challenging"?
Or do you mean more 'do-able' in a syncro?

Agree with si.. if you never done owt.. do something close to home.. that "jog" looks interesting.. entry fee a god bit tho...

Croatia challengr.. well.. a syncro might get round.. keeping it reliable and with a really really really good winch setup.
