Hi

Completely new to this and campers. Been wanting one for ages and have finally gone for it with a T25 Autosleeper Trooper.

We have a toddler and want him to be up front with us on our journeys. I have seen campers for sale with a middle 'buddy'(?) seat up front. Our camper is just 2 seats, passenger that swivels.

I was thinking would it be possible to construct a custom 'buddy' seat that can be securely anchored to the floor between drivers and passenger seat with an ISOFIX bar built in (eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ford- ... 1c381341d2

Anybody tried the same or have any thoughts?

In case this can't be done I know the rear passenger side lap belt can be upgraded to 3 point easily if the fixings are under the trim. If they aren't a bit more hassle but possible. Also there is the option of a front bench seat if I can get my hands on one.

This is on my project list as well as we have a toddler and bought a T25 autosleeper Komet in August.
I've looked at selling the passenger swivel seat and fitting an LDV Twin seat setup as these have a 3 point seat belt on the centre seat and you can use the existing seat belt for the outer seat.
The LDV seats seem to be going for about £80 on ebay.

I'm 'eventually' looking at exactly the same thing both of you are looking at.

We now have a 10 day old baby and I really want to get the panel van suitable to carry the 3 of us up front. I was already looking at a repaclement twin seat and think I had a brief chat with Halfbaked about LDV seats.

I'd also seen the ford ISOFIX brackets which I thought could be installed into my bulkhead. Only thing stopping me is the original twin seat in the van doesn't have enough room to slide the isofix brackets between the base and back.

...so back to a replacement twin seat.

Is it the LDV Maxus seat which measured up correctly to fit in a T25?
