Morning all! Has anyone fitted, or tried to fit Mk1 Golf GTi armrests? I like the looks of these, but wondered whether it would be to much cutting about or if it was just not possible at all. Alternatively, if anyone has retro fitted a different arm rest, could you post up a pic?! Here's one of the Gti arm rest:

As an aside, does anyone know if T4 Window winders will fit?!

Cheers in advance, Justin.

Just fitted F--- galaxy ones to mine. It was really easy. Just 2 holes to drill in the side post for each armrest , one tapped to 8mm. if you are not worried about them rubbing slightly when moving up & down. Or as I did make a spacer from a small flat plate approx 8mm thick in order to clear the side of the seat completely. Once you unfasten & raise the back rest cover it is obvious what needs doing. Sorry I don't have any pics.

Beemer compacts also fit well.
Audi A6 window winders (rear) are good and more robust.

Cheers for the suggestions chaps, much appreciated - I've emailed the fella selling the arm rests to see if he can give me some dimensions in relation to where the fixings are.
