injection pump locking pin location

Hi all, i am in the process of fitting a new cam belt as the last one on my 1.6td snapped. I want to temporarily fit the belt to allow me to rotate engine parts and identify extent of damage etc. With the help of this forums wiki section I was able to identify the flywheel marker, surprised to find it on the pressure plate cover. What i cant find is where to insert the locking pin for the injection pump. The hole on the pump body is easy enough but there are two matching holes in the pulley that fit the locking pin perfectly. I guess one hole would be correct and the other would put the timing out 180 degrees. Can anyone advise me the best course of action?

Thanks Mark, that site is a masterclass in pump timing. Just need to source a depth guage.

Thanks again.
