I would like to paint my stained headliner black, with it in situ. Can I get a paint for this or is it a bad idea, any ideas much appreciated.

Rustoleum vinyl paint would do it. You can find it on ebay for about £10 a tin. 3 tins should cover it. Make sure its clean first.
