Antifreeze: Halford's or VW or mix?

Touched upon this topic the other week, but focus shifted to getting the new slightly oversized hose to fit...
I've got an unopened flaggon of Halford's finest, 2 litres. "Approved by VW: TL774-D". The wiki tells me this equates to VW G12.
Should I:
a) give it away and splash out on 8 litres of VW G12+
b) buy 6 litres of VW G12 and mix them
c) buy 6 more litres of Halford's
c) is of course the cheapest option...

its a diesel, throw any old crap in it, it wont hurt it, as long as you are NOT mixing stuff that isnt safe to mix......unlikely these days unless your halfwits stuff is well old.....
only the WBX are picky on antifreeze......

Well, looks like the C's have it on a majority, unless Mr Rev has some more science up his sleeve? The Halfwits stuff is fairly new, and says that it's approved by VW. And it's only antifreeze! Late opinions still welcome of course...
Thanks for all the input, as always.

I bought 10 litres of that Comma Extreme stuff on friday for mine. Cost £28 from my handy local motor factors. I believe this is upto VW standard.
