Hi,

Whilst drilling out my seat rails today i got a bit carried away with a brand new spot weld drill bit and went through the floor and into the plastic tank thing that sits under the drivers seat just above the filler neck.

is this a petrol tank expansion tank? if so can i just epoxy over the hole i made? or fibre glass it? or do i need to get a new one?

If a new one is needed does anyone have one?

On the plus side, the seat subframes are modified and nearly ready to bolt in

Unavailble now so you'll have to replace them with used ones.

cheers for the reply. I think i have found a second hand one for sale.

Will be removing the other side one before i remove the passenger seat rails just in case i do the same.

new spot weld drill bits are sharp
