I think they usually come in 25m lengths - that should do you just fine. If not, get the campsite to provide an extension

Hi louey thanks for the quick response the reason I posted the query is having been on a couple of sites last year I thought the hook up points were quite close to the pitch and not actually 25 mtrs away from the van, maybe I just wasn't looking properly. Thanks again and best regards bob

I bought a 10m one when we 1st got the van & soon realised I needed a longer one. Not all hook up points are that close so 25m would be best. You can never have too much!

Thanks Charlie I think you're right along with Louey in that the 25mtr one should cover all scenario's,i will order one to be on the safe side.Regards bob

Ideally you need a 10m one and a 20m one, then you can cover upto 30m by connecting them together
Mostly 10m is more than enough ...

This is particularly handy on French campsites where the hook-ups can be a long way apart. :ok

Yep, exact same here. I think we connected the two together to give us 35m once or twice. I don't think we ever had a situation where 35m wasn't enough.

You can... The longer the cable, the heavier gauge it needs to be to minimise voltage drop. So our 10m cable rolls neatly and easily and tucks between the back of the driver's seat and the kitchen unit. But the 25m is a PITA to roll, and has to live in the under-seat. If the 10m reaches, I'd always use that one first, simply because it's so much easier to manage. The fun comes when I think the 10m will work, then find it's <----------> this short, so have to put it away and get the 25m out. In the rain, usually.

Best is the shortest as the longer ones can be a little bulky...however, sometimes they don't reach
Most useful....definitely a 25 metre (long enough 95% of the time)

Maybe the best option is a 10M & a 25M lol
