swivel seat base

I'm looking at fitting a swivel seat base on the passenger seat of my van, the 2 I've found one from jk and the other on eBay state they can only be used on genuine vw seats and I don't think mine are , the runners they are on are bolted along the outer edges of the seat base anyone know if the swivel bases will fit ? Thanks jeff
