Don't go there guys - trying to swap just the lamp units over; Chances are one or more of the adjusters will break when you try and remove them, they go brittle with age., just get a rhd set second hand and swap units complete. Then when you cross the channel on hols you can swap back easily. Spare grill can be painted/played with for experimental looks or sold to help offset the cost of the whole job - imho

i guess that shows the quality of the parts department from heron of newark..he said that they'd break and that i'd need some.
some parts chaps are utter fools, imho. halfords one time told me that vw didn't make beetles before 1998, for example
