hi all, had to remove my fridge in a leisure drive hi top and noticed quite a bit of water in the panel behind.looking around i noticed the frame of the sliding window on the inside was brim full of rain water in the chanell the window slides in.it looks like there was a rope like seal in this chanel once you can see it intact on the top half of the window but is missing at the bottom. has anyone else experienced this,can it be fixed, can you buy the seal,someone suggested i may have to replace the whole window. any suggestions and many thanx eugene

There will be drain holes in the channel at each end on the outside and these may be blocked with cr@p. The sliding windows aren't waterproof like a fixed one, it relies on the water draining away through these slots.

It has not been unknown for some people to fit these sliding windows in the wrong way round leaving the drain holes on the inside Hopefully yours just needs a clean out although the felt 'rope' may have disintergrated and causing the blockage

thanx for reply the drain holes are in the outside chanel but its the inside one that fills up and there are no drain holes. i've made sure the drain holes are clear.
