What is the best oil for a 1.9 td AAZ engine. Had a new recon engine 2500 miles ago and oil is only just under the line now so need to get some! Very impressed so far with it
not even a drip on the drive!

Diesel engine oil should do the trick...

can anyone tell me where i put the gear box fluid ? lol not had my van long so no too sure :/ its a vw type 25 watercooled 1.9

Right side of the gearbox (looking towards the front of the van) half way up behind the gear linkage....17mm internal hex bung...fill to the lower thread level..
