Size of lacing tool for window rubber trims

I've tried to ask in Technical but have not received a reply so I'm trying here (sorry to trespass). Anyone know what size lacing tool I need to buy to fit the black plastic trim into the side window rubbers in my Autosleeper please, or anyone able to tell me how to find out/work it out? If I measure across the widest part of the trim do I get that size or do I need something a size larger. Sorry if this sounds a dumb question. I have tried google, WIKI etc but not been able to determine which I need. Many thanks folks.

Dazco, Mike

Any chance of a photo of yours? I need to get one too, and a photo of one that works would help to narrow down the choice.

ok these are the good ones, forget the price, they are robbers, i can get them for under £20 last i looked, i have a genuine clayton one from the 60's still going strong

there is also the simple loop on a rod and to be honest they also work good enough
not got a picky nto hand

I used the jk diamond lacing tool when I did mine worked fine
As sais by mm its just a piece of wire on a rod
Probably get them cheaper than jk
I can measure it if needed

I know, very naughty of me. Sorry.(And the above wasn't meant as a criticism, I was just trying to explain why I had put a Tech question in General Chat so that I wouldn't get a rollacking from a moderator). Ouch, that slap on the wrist hurt. It does show that you read the posts though doesn't it. :)
Anyway, thanks everyone who's offered to help, I'm sorted via Dazco :ok

All sorted now. Trims back in place. Many thanks to Hakuna Matata and Dazco for the great advice (though not sure what size hammer you meant  ) and to Dazco for the loan of the equipment. (Had to be careful how I worded that one
