Steering column bearing

Hi just wondering if anyone has ever replaced there steering column bearing and hard or long a job it is mine has come up on advisory on mot and was gonna do it if easy enough . Cheers

Are you sure its the bearing or the compression seal, try the seal its only cheap from vw heritage.
