Front Seats

Having not long owned a 1984 T3 Westy and loving it, we've recently learned that a new baby will be here in May, the rear seats are already taken up by our other 2 rug rats. Is it possible to put a bench seat in the front to accommodate another child seat or has anyone put one in the back maybe behind the passenger seat?
Any help or advice would be appreciated as I do not want to get rid of her.

Congrats on the new baby (and the new small child ;-).

Your options are.... If you have the parallel mounting rails in the back...

....then you can fit one of these...

Or you can have a seat with storage underneath behind the passenger seat.

...or, and this is what I would do, you could track down a flip up buddy seat.

Hope that helps a bit.

That would be my preferred option, but not sure if you can?

My front bench seats are anchored to the bulk head I have between the front and the rear of the van. Not sure how they would fit if you didn't have this.

Im looking into doing this with the bench seat. Fab up a fram from some Box section, should be easy enough and bolt to the floor via seatbelt mounts!?
Its a long way off at the moment but seems like it would be simple enough.
