20w50 oil

is the above oil OK for my DF or would it be better to stick to 20w40 or 15w 40?

Yeh its ok
Especially for more worn engines as its thicker

I use Halfords 20w50 Classic Car Oil in mine. Much reduced the tappet noise when cold.

I did see the halfords stuff tne other day £19.99 for 5 litres, but the 20w50 form the lad next door is free and hes going to do it for me on friday as hes got a quiet day.
