I've checked wiki etc- can the real afficionados comment on the following please:

1980 t25 1900 petrol a/c with metal filler pipe. If we purchase the JK fuel tank package, is there likely to be any compatability problem with the plastic filler pipe supplied versus the existing metal one. I'm not sure if there's any difference in the geometry i.e. size of fuel cap opening, distance to tank inlet etc. Feel that it's probably ok but am helping someone else and don't want them tho commit lots of dosh without knowing
cheers

The tank kit they supply is supposed to be a direct replacement for the origional equipment, but with the later plastic instead of metal filler tube and associated parts.

Be ready if the tank strap mounting bolts snap off, coz it will be a fiddly job to sort out .

I stock early tanks, as well as late ones and injection ones.
One of each generally always on the shelf.
