hi my temp gadge wont work if you earth the wire the light flashes and it gos up to hot i put a new sender still nothing what is it ????

Engine?

tried new earth on engine and even one on the sender itself getting the hump with it now

If you add your engine details and the age of your van to your signature strip, then people will find it easier to give advice.

So are you saying that if you pull the wire off the sensor (at the engine) and ground it to engine then the gauge goes to full hot. But with the wire connected to the sensor the gauge doesn't move from it's fully cold position?

if so its a duff sender.... not unheard of that a replacement can be faulty too

its now on its second new sender still nothing

One pin or two pin sensor? Two pin needs an earth to it also AFAIK.

one pin I am starting to think about wireing a another gadge not realy the way to go

So, am I right in what I said above - or are you testing some other way?

yes thats it i ground the wire on the head and even on the body of the sender and it gos all the way over past hot and the light flashes

Weird!!
The only thing I can suggest is taking the sender out and testing it in a bowl of hot water (you'd need to ground the sender body to the vehicle using a bit of wire)

ok i have some movement i fitted the clocks from my van and it now works well gos up to the top of the cold mark now i got the warning light flashing cant find the problem with that the only thing is i replaced the end of the tempture wire and it was slightly heavyerwire onlt by a few strands would this be why

I'm pretty sure I don't understand what you are saying?
Are you saying that you have installed a different gauge cluster into the campervan?
Also I don't understand what you mean about the temperature wire?
