Guys,

We are going to test drive and inspect this van tomorrow. Anyone know it, or tested it already?

Monster roo bar

The add doesn't mention difflocks, without them you will be disappointed.

Yeah, not sure there's many monsters needing knocking aside.

:rofl

It might be up for sale again if we buy the van.

Dint buy it.... :|

The body work needed quite a bit of work, the water temp light was flashing the whole time, it needed a full rub back to bare metal and a respray after all the rust was treated.

It also had a trace of a persistent oil leak between the air filter housing and carb housing - i couldn't work out why there would be oil there?

On the up side, the chassis seemed solid with recently welded jacking points etc. the diff housings here bright orange with rust, but worked albeit hesitantly at first.

Question why would the front diff light flash?

Hopefully 3 to see next weekend. :ok

Front difflock light will flash as it's trying to engage, safety device 'cos when it kicks in you've got no steering !!

Unless you have the luxury of power steering!

£3fixes the westy toast issue, £3 does not fix a displeasuredrive or any other lesser camper.

Thanks chaps! We're checking out a couple of forumites vans and an eBay bus.

Also have my eye on a good looking Finnish ambulance in Helsinki, but getting there to check it out is one thing, but getting time off to go and make the long drive it home is trickier.
