Changing Interior Spot lights

Hi all
Thinking if changing the interior lights in my van to led lights. Is it just a straight swap using the wiring that's on the original lights ? One is a spotlight and two are strip lights.
Thanks
Eric

Ikea is you friend here
I removed my fugly 'sleeper strip light and pathetic wobbly spot..
replaced with a swish 12v wardrobe led strip and a modern 12v halogen spot
I'll post some pictures up later

Hi Eric, yes fine to use original wiring. Led lights will pull less current so all ok.

first the ikea bit...
strip light
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80151293/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
seems that ikea have discontinued the spot but here's a similar one at the same price
http://www.caravanparts.co.uk/0043-lumo ... -1059.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
first the spot
it swivels up to load the children into bed.. and down to cook
the strip light can be added without removing the original, I chose to recover the whole thing and remove it...the horrid thing is useless!
, the led's are a "warm" light

Very nice lighting Kev the Rev. My dad lives in Croydon so will visit Ikea for the lights and the customary hotdog and fries.
