I have seen one that I like and am very very interested in BUT seller advises corrosion in one footwell and a small hole. How much do you think it would cost to get work like this done? Obviously I don't know the extent yet but if anyone can give me a ball-park figure it'd be helpful! Thanks in advance.

If it has rot in the footwell it probably has rot elsewhere that is letting the water in.
Careful.
I found the rot in the footwell,a nd knew it would cost £100 so I bought it thinking it was an easy fix.
Look at my name

With a magnet.
In the right places.
Under the pretty paintwork.
Rusting from the inside out.
Needs mnore than a look over really.
Some vans can look good, with rust lurking underneath the glitz.

I would suggest you look at the rust sections in the wiki, the usual behind the fridge, rear arches, foot well, windows and screens are well covered in that, what you can see is only usually a proportion of what actually exists.

Hi rob you said you know a good welder and as you're not a million miles away can you pm me some details. I've got a small ( for now) hole in the passenger foot well. And some welding that needs doing that I think was bogged up when I bought the van as I didn't spot it. Need some honest trustworthy person to have a look and quote me and tell me all hope is not lost......
