Took the camper out for a drive after been away for two weeks and started it up and plume of blue smoke came out of the exhaust. It settled down but there is still a hint of smoke coming out after driving two miles. It's a petrol engine. Any ideas?

Worn valve stems/seals? Could allow oil to get into the bores over the time you've not used it and then be burnt-off once the engines started perhaps?

could be valve stem seals then. That would be my first port of call. Start it again when left for a bit and see if it smokes again. To be honest, it will not harm it if it is and until they get really bad I would not worry too much. I never used to run any on a 5 turbo I had as they would pop off and cause more problems.
