Charger Help Needed Please

Hello. Boss has asked me to buy a 12v charger that can be live in enclosure outside. I thought ha that's easy I'll just buy a C-Tek one however he wants it so this enclosure is un-openable (theft) so when the car is connected the charger just needs to kick straight in without a button being pressed on the charger.
I'm also guessing that I cannot have a charger that uses a fan to cool it either as it will be enclosed so that rules out the Amperor one too
Does it need to be IP65 rated too?
Any ideas please?
Rob

Doesn't have to be IP56. There are plenty of external enclosures that aren't sealed but have angled slots to allow ventilation but still prevent rain entering (bit like fridge vents on campers). Unless he's planning on treating it to a jet wash now and then

and obviously has to be at least fingerproof if there are uninsulated live parts inside.

Plugged in to the mains, yep - but I read the requirement as wanting to leave it permie plugged in to the mains, and spark up when it "sees" a battery. I checked the Ctek manual, and it goes into a sleep mode if not connected for 2min. I dunno if it auto-wakes if/when it does, but they specifically recommend against that. Connect to battery first, then mains.

Maybe... mines connected to the battery all the time. Plug the mains in and it comes on. Surely if its mounted in a box you have to connect it to a battery/car/van then turn the plug on?

I was thinking of the Amperor charger as I read somewhere that some put it in a T25 and soon as you hook up it kicks in.
I own a C-Tek 3600 and that needs a button pressing.
Think I need to tell him to mount the charger inside and drill through for the charge wires.
Thanks for the help. Rob

My MXS5.0 definitely doesn't need anything touching.

I have a Ctek M300 on the hire van. It doesn't need anything pressing and just comes on as soon as its plugged into the hookup.

I have the amperor. That comes on. In fact bit doesn't have any buttons apart from a 240v one (which is always on).

The CTeks do have buttons, to change the charge mode/profile - but they remember which one was used last time.
