Size of the wheel centre bore?

Just as it says, I was wondering if anyone knows the size of the centre bore on standard wheels?

I can't get to the van until Friday night and I am trying to find some alloys to replace as I am due new tyres on the existing wheels, so a change seems worth a go.

Also I believe it is the fronts which have the larger centre hols, if I need to get some alloys milled out, will it be easy? expensive? any thoughts.

Found some wheel of of an early Passat VR6 15"

Cheers

64mm needed to clear the front hubs, rears are OK with 57mm (standard VW hole size)

Needs doing either on a lathe or with a boring bar on a miller, or you could do it with a rotary table on a miller. Did mine with the boring bar.

No worries, pity you`re in Oxford, I could do the job for a small fee :)
You could also try B & Q for a 64mm drill bit?

Note, I didn`t need to bore right through the front rims, so I retained the original fitting VW centre caps (I have got 20mm spacers front and back)
