Hi all, just wondering if any Kent members have any recommendations of a T25 friendly mobile mechanic, our Holdsworth decided to break down on the motorway the other week and I have been left with a gearbox that is pretty much useless (stuck in 1st). RAC man checked the linkages but could not get it working so suspects problem more gearbox related.
Van is now stuck on the driveway so hence need a good mechanic to get gearbox out and see whats needed... I just hope its not a new gearbox.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

I'm based near Aylesford so anywhere in the Maidstone/Medway region will be great

with the engine off, will it come out of gear ?? what does the clutch feel like?

Lee, sorry to learn of your plight I dont know if they can offer a mobile man, but there is a T3 friendly garage in Strood. If they don't do mobile work, its not that far so perhaps a trailer ride there might not cost a mint. Cheers for replys, I know a garage in West Malling but not sure if he will do mobile, I will try him just wanted to know if anyone else had suggesions

Just had some work done on mine, just of the lower Rainham Road in Kent his name is Dan and he can come out mobile if necessary.
