Hi all, whilst my van's having surgery and I've had to strip it out,
I've noticed how flimsy the rock n roll brackets are. I think they're Reimo ones.
The base is mega strong and well fixed, But the seat back is ply, fixed at the bottom
Corners by 4 screws each side to the brackets . Well, to me it's not safe. My kids travel in the back too.
I'm looking at the metal offerings as in the title, both look spot on. I already have a raised
Lid at the rear, so there's no issues fitting it.
Just wondered if anyone has any opinions on them
I've searched and read Cruz's posts re Bluebird one, which is great. Just seeking further endorsement/

Hi mate I have just bought the bluebird full length but haven't fitted it yet . Its well made and finished but until I fit it I can say much more .

I have the volkswares 3/4 bed and like the bluebird one its well made. It was easy to install and has been overall great. My only niggle with it is the large flat areas are made from mesh and when driving over a textured road it can sound like a tesco trolley rattling away. Oh and i bought at a show and got some nice discount for cash.

Had a bluebird fitted for 3 years now....ish, I can't quite remember. It's been fine and I've had no problems. I even stand on the edge of the frame to get to stuff at the back of the hightop.

I saw both bluebird and volkswares beds at a show and I wasn't impressed with the volkswares one because of the wire mesh construction, or the way it was as a seat with the weight taken on a swing arm.....well it was back then unless they have changed the design.

Just finishing pulling out the back of my van and need to pop a rock n roll bed in and 3 seat belts.

Have no real idea so hope it isn't too difficult. It was a converted panel van (Holdsworth Vision) but the 80% of the back is out and I am starting to look at what to put back in....
