Having searched wiki & tech I still need to ask my, v basic, question! How do I remove the washer bottle from my beloved Helga? Went to fill bottle last week and water went straight through onto my foot!, no it's not leaking from overfilling, it's just leaking full stop! but having looked under van & in haynes manual it would seem that this is considered such a basic task there's no pics or instructions.....well I am trying to learn but need more help.....anyone with any handy helpful hints please let me know!!

Hi
There should be three retaining bolt on the bottom of the bottle which need to be undone. And detach the filler neck and wiring and it should come out.
Its on page 220 of my Haynes manual it is the early green one tho.

This was one of the first jobs I did to mine...I found that the filler neck and bottle were separate pieces and the rubber jointing seal was leaking. This was an easy fix using some silicon sealer and a gun.

There are 2 M6 (10mm spanner) bolts ... Brickwerks sell the seal that joins the 2 halves together.
