Hi,

Been a while. Nellies been SORN for the last 18 months due to purchase of new house in cornwall and a baby arrival.
Nows the time to get her back on the road and I want to sort out a S L O W leak on the head.

Is it possible to tighten it up a bit or are we talking a new head....? If it is possible, just drain the oil, pop off the rocker cover and tighten up as per Torque and sequence c/o Mr Haynes ?

Any other pointers / tips / suggestions ?

Cheers,

You're talking replacing a waterjacket seal which means (at the very least) taking the head off and replacing the seal BUT a search will reveal the true horrors you may be about to undertake ....

And remember the seals will be the same age ....

Seal not fussed about, have changed them before so familiar with the horrors

Will double check the torque before as its fairly quick to do after work.
