starter motor removal

hi everyone having abit of a problem with my starter motor.anyway there seems to be 2 bolts holding it on,the one that worries me is the allen head type one on the top as in the past I have had trouble with these kind of bolts usually rounding out.also there is a nut further back from this is this anything to do with the allen head type bolt and if so do I take this off first.cheers dave
