i need a new video camera for the doka as my old trusty flipshare camera just exploded, so which one and why??????????

The Go pro seems to be very popular.

As Rob says; Go Pro with car accessories, helmet strap and waterproof casing, if you can afford the wifi and viewfinder extras you have a great allrounder plus a security camera. If you can't afford viewfinder it really doesn't matter if on wide angle setting if pointed roughly in the right direction. The stop motion settings give surprisingly good results. Great shooting options and simples.

Go Pro 3 black. The pictures from both video and stills are amazing. Use 16gb cards as any bigger crashes the camera. And the batteries don't last long so get some extras and a wall charger. They are expensive though once you've bought all the bits but they do hold their value. The camera has 3 angle settings wide medium and tight. It's also a pain to use the menus on the camera so having a screen makes this much easier.

As Arun says re batteries and viewfinder. I have a Hero2 and used a 64GB without problems.
The only niggle is deleting everything (formatting) with this size card; you have to keep repeating the process; the workaround is to delete using your computer.
