A wee drop of petrol on a cloth might do it or if you are brave enough paint thinner again on a cloth

Knowing me I could have rollered it with the windows down!! sat on the wall outside my house my many neighbours on passing offered the following advice, leave it as it is, you'll only make a b****cks of it, use back to black, use a stanley knife, use matt black nail varnish as you get a brush with it, use black permanent marker and finally someone gave me a tin of matt black enamel and a little brush. I'm torn between deciding on doing all of them on different bits and giving you the feedback or using my wife's nail varnish remover (acetone) and being very, very, very careful not to get caught by her using it. we'll see. If all else fails I'll paint my nails black, draw a funny moustache on my face with the marker pen, sniff the acetone and do nothing. :ok Thanks for the suggestions though!

Stanley knife dragged backwards across surface will generally remove it and/or weaken it enough for it to come off with solvent. Thats how I did it.
