Oil buzzer when below 3000rpm - SA 2.5

Good day to all you knowledgable folk :D

Replaced piston rings, bearings and valve stem seals - along with all gaskets. Previous problem was oil leak, so buzzer would go mad when oil level was too low. Since the repairs... when driving for a while and slowing down speed, revs drop below 3000rpm then the buzzer goes mad. To get rid of the buzzer sound I either have to put the van in neutral, rev to over 3000rpm, then continue driving for a while and same thing happens - or I have to gear down, make sure revs are above 3000rpm... or buzzer sound continues.

I check oil level before and after trip, level is fine - no drop in level. The head is due fo a retorque now... what can it be, what do I do?

Does the red oil light also come on? The buzzer signals low oil pressure, either a faulty sender (if your lucky) or you have low oil pressure (have engine pressure tested whilst head work being done)

Yip, red light flashes and buzzer sounds... don't think it's faulty sender though (was not changed)... prior to work done, light and buzzer triggered when oil level low, when topped up - no light, no buzzer... since work done light and buzzer when revs drop below 3000rpm. Pity their ain't no undo button for this job LOL

Do a pressure test for your piece of mind, if all ok take a look in the Wiki section for other causes.
