Hello all, Been replacing the gear linkage and noticed that the Selector lever (Ali "T" piece) has a bolt at the bottom and not a pin.
This bolt just spins as it has no other end!!

Also should the gear shift joint (that bolts to the gearbox) come off normally or is there a trick to getting it off?

someone then has bodged the cup and the new chinese made balls can be a very tight fit on the splines, original ones not usually,check for signs of spot weld, not uncommon way to cure a loose one
