Any recommendations for a starter battery , 1.9 DG petrol . Battery under drivers seat . Or is it just a case of any that fit ? Cheers , Daz

Here we go again!!

Standard fitment is something like a 52ah but the general consensus is to fit something a bit bigger.
Code 100 batteries are around the 72ah mark with considerably better CCA. These are low profile and fit well in a VW battery box.
