Clutching at straws time again. Hole in silencer around the tail pipe. What's the biggest hole on a silencer you've repaired (bodged up) with Gun Gum?

a cut up steel can gun gum and good jubilees can patch quite a big hole

Thanks but it's on the return/curve where the end of the silencer goes into the tail pipe. A bit like the top of a 2l pop (or cider!) bottle.

You need the 'ends and bends' kit then! Used this on a golf, was very good. Lasted for quite a while too.

I put one of the above on my van last week, works a treat and completely covers the hole. Going to see if there's an exhaust for sale at VW North West next weekend because the silencer will need replacing as well soon.
