Is there some magic order that these have to go in left hand to right hand etc? does it matter so long as one injector is connected to the next one?

Start at on end and link them together, the first one will have the main "return" line and the last one has a bung/stop on one side.

Take care to use proper spec hose and blanking cap too. I've had both these fail prematurely due to perishing.

We are living a mini nightmare with this at the moment.
Currently using Gates hose which seems okay but next order we put it we are going to get some FPM/ECO hose as that is more stable with bio as I think the make up of diesel fuel has changed and whatever is in there is killing the old NBR/CR hose and the cotton overbriad DIN 73779 (or whatever the spec is).
I think the days of selling one hose to do both petrol and Diesel have gone.
Even petrol vans are suffering with this E10 stuff.

I have had several of my pipes fail recently but took me a while to trace the fault. I would be driving along ( ok its a ky 1700 so I can,t say peacefully ) and it I would lose power. The symptoms were quite alarming as if the engine was trying to seize up...
I eventually discovered that the blanking plug rubber was perished and was leaking diesel and allowing air in or just ruining the flow to the injector. I replaced this and then a week later first one run off pipe split ( Needed an AA recovery ) and then another. I replaced all the pipes about two years ago!! Will be interesting to see if anyone else is having the same issue.
