Taking one area of the dash off

Hi. Had a quick look at the Wiki and don't think this is on there, apologies if it is. Got a bit of a short circuit and I'm trying to track it down. To do this need to take a bit of the dashboard area off but have no idea how to do it; there are no obvious screws to remove or anything.
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about...
Any help would be great, thanks,

more specifically, on the sides at the top are some vents, stick your pinkies in there and then pull, like the dash pod it will make a cracking noise follewed shortly by cursing anthe thought of *"pooh" i've bust it* or at least mine did till i bust it!!

Ok, mixed sucess. I can now relate to your experience Dave...it's off but I have a triangular shard of plastic which has broken off...now where's that super glue?

I find refitting cuses more damage than removal, theres some slidy thinngs which need aligning
