Random fault that's just struck when coming back from Cornwall tonight! When I push the horn I get the flashing red led on the temp gauge going on momentary. Anyone else has that problem?

The control box (NOT a relay) for the temperature light is number 42 (or 43) on the relay panel. It is very voltage sensitive. The horn uses quite a lot of current and so if any of the earths or connections are less than good, it could easily cause this because of voltage drop when using the horn.

Check and clean the earth crown behind the fuse box. Check the multi connector under the dash, above your right knee (assuming RHD) Check that there are no signs of water damage around your fuse box and relay panel (can happen if your windscreen seal is on it's way out etc)
