I just purchased this carrier, spindle and hub!.

As you can see from this pic I can see a little bit of shiny hub, should this be further down and into the bearing seal more? or is this correct? I cant tell without taking all my hub assembly apart on my van.

Looks ok to me from when I have rebuilt my hubs. That small amount of shiny metal left by contact from lip seal is visible due to a small amount of bearing slop allowing axial movement in drive shaft...
