Hi all,

I'm struggling to find a T25 mechanic to take care of my bus, can any one recommend one near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk?

MOT failure; Complete Exhaust, ARB links, amongst other things - parts bought just need them fitted.

I've tried a few local garages but no one wants to touch the exhaust, saying the studs will just snap off and it's a big job if they do?

Exhaust not a massive job, easier with the engine out, and that's easier than it sounds.

I would try the exhaust myself but know that sods law says all the studs would snap and by the time I find the time to get the engine out summer would be over!!

takes four hours to remove the engine, VW designed it to all come out in one.
no removing anything first, the whole lot drops out

Try these guys. They fitted a subaru engine in my partners syncro BUT do they all the regular stuff also. Serviced mine there and very pleased.
I'm sure they'll be able to help you and not far from Bury either.

Im in Cotton and there is a mechanic in Gislingham who knows VWs well, rebuilt his own bay etc etc

VW antics near Woodbridge. My T25 has been going there for years.

^^^^^ 5 months ago!!!! He needed it for the summer.

I didnt realise that there was that many t25's in the area.

Loads around.

There is 6 of us on my camp alone.
