dropped valve

I put my T25 1.9 petrol into the garage as I have been having trouble with tick over and power, The garage say's it has half compression on No 2 cylinder and 120 on the other 3 he thinks it's the valves He admits to not doing them he puts engines out to be done but his guy is up to his eyes in work and is going on holiday in a couple of weeks for a 3 week break, so does anybody know or recommend somebody in Kent that could do it for me? I would do it myself but I have a back problem and could not bend over the van for that long without suffering big time, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mike

Just an update, I put the camper into a garage to check the valves, they removed the rocker covers and found the nuts that hold the rockers shaft on had come loose and sheared the studs off giving me loss of power as the valves were not working replaced the studs courtesy of heritage 24 hr delivery service and what a difference its a lot quieter and the power is really good over the past week it has returned an average of 31 mpg and sits very comfortably at 65 mph on the motorway with foot just resting on the pedal and has plenty in reserve for overtaking. they checked the compression again and I have 3 at 120 and one at 118 so very happy with that, put a colour tune kit on it and it's spot on. So before you start spending lot's of money when you are losing power just check the nuts on the rockers, apparently one of them was stripped causing stress why it was not replaced when they stripped it, I don't know whoever it was that fitted it in the first place!! Now i can concentrate on the rest of the van a respray and new upholstery maybe.

Very glad you got it sorted and it was nothing too serious :ok

Are you sure you are averaging 31mpg though, that is remarkably good mpg :)
