ht leads king lead too short. changeover van. use golf leads

hi there. the king lead is way too short on gsf part number 926VG0100.
all the other leads are ok fit. these are early van leads. the later leads gsf do are ok fit but the caps are for the male distributor cap.
anyone come into this on a changeover van?
