after a weekend in barmouth my 85 t25 lost all brake fluid but managed to limp it home.Im part way through replacing brakes now but bleed nipples are past it so does anyone know the size of these, also when bleeding the brakes do i start from the back wheels or is there a proper way of doing this.

If the nipples are knackered, are the cylinders any good? It's an infallible sign that somebody in the past's been neglecting that side of the maintenance...

I've fed some duff info here. Just came to fit some new bleed nipples and found that the brakes are M6, not M7 as I stated above.

nipples turned up today M7 and they fit perfectly,.....

Something odd afoot here! Tried to fit M7's into Dazman's camper tonight and they are too large. Checked ETKA and it says M6. Now you succeed with M7's? My brain hurts!

Must be that some aftermarket stuff uses different sizes.

Glad yours fit though as I was feeling guilty at having misled you.

i checked them with old ones i took out,the threaded end was exactly same length as the old ones and i screwed them in with my fingers so deffo M7.

According to JK & VW Heritage fronts are 7mm & rears 6mm
