Rivnut size for fitting a front spoiler?

Hello.
Finally got a spoiler and going to fit it soon. I see from a few threads that rivnuts are the way to go. I've found a good description about how to fit them without having to buy the special tool.

But does anyone know what size rivnuts to use? This site offers up to M8 - is that big enough?

Thanks

I think the rivnut size is M6, ie it takes an M6 bolt screwed into it. You should find that there are already the holes in your bodywork for the rivnuts, on the horizontal surface behind the front bumper. there is on mine anyway. Maybe the size of these holes will indicate what size rivnut to use? I would think they are a standard size.
Try pm to Simon at Brickwerks, he fits them for a cost when buying the spoiler from him.

Yip M6 are the right sizes. All fitted using the home-made tool. Worked fine, slightly scuffed knuckle and a bit fiddly but worth doing to save the cost of the tool.
I now have 40 odd M6 rivnuts I'm unlikely to ever need is anyone needs some.
