My friend has a t1 splitty with opening tailgate glass window
Seems there is a frame that the glass sits in and sliders with locks each side
Is this something that has been done on a t25 ?
I think it would be a great and different thing to consider
Any ideas guys ?

made one for my bay, as the bay ones were so expensive at the time, but made it like a sunroof in that there was no frame.
it sealed against a rubber, like the beetle bonnet seal, that was fitted in the window aperture
fiddliest bit was getting the opening arc of the glass to miss the window aperture at the hinge edge, not tricky, just have to get it right

A quick update on my quest
At a steam rally at the weekend there was a camper there with caravan style side windows and rear tailgate open
How did you get the tailgate glass to hinge on top edge ? do you have any pictures?

used some motorhome/racetruck hatch hinges, they were like kitchen cupboard hinges but a bit more simple

go the whole hog and graft a landrover freelander rear window mech in to the back.
