Now mounted the panel on roof. Wondering if its best tk have a short cable to regulator and long one to battery or other way round? Battery under front seat and regulator currently above it on kitchen block behind drivers seat.

Hete wego then. 45w panel from glastonbury. 40 quid to replace maplin 13w suitcase one. Screwed onto alu angle with stainless allen/button head bolts, nylocks and rubber washer betwern bracket and panel for vibration. Stuck to roof with one of those siksflex type tubes but not ss rediculously expensive! Flex will go through two rubber insulated p brackets bolted onto the rear roif rack mount. Cable runs to front of van behind kitchen into small regulator behind battery with a switch.
