Hi,
i had a new clutch fitted in my T25 1.6 deisel but think the cable needs some ajustment......is this an easy job to do?

Yes, reach above gearbox and wind up (or undo depending) the wing nut until you have sufficient play at pedal end. You may need some plusgas or oil on threads if its not been moved in a long while.

I dont know if its the cable or something else!!!
Finding it really hard to get out of reverse gear.
Any ideas please!!!

Will this really have a cable operated clutch? I thought it was more likely hydraulic (fluid operated).

Does it come out of reverse easily when you turn the engine off?
Could be the clutch needs bleeding.
Could be the spigot shaft bearing is shot (depending on model).
Could be you have very little gearbox oil and it needs filling (if it has been leaking)
Could be the input shaft splines are dry and rusty.
Could be the clutch is worn out.

I had new clutch fitted 2 weeks ago.
Will top up oil when i can find the correct size plug spanner gerrrrrrr

Iv sprayed the ball on the gear leaver with silicon spray....seems to be much better
